Carbon Off-Setting

What carbon offsetting essentially means is that based on the amount of carbon you use in your home, while driving or taking an airplane, you donate an equivalent amount of money to renewable energy and energy efficient projects.  There are a number of carbon offset organizations out there.  Planetair.ca is one that we came across that's based in Canada.  On this site, you'll find a calculator to convert carbon emissions to dollars as well as lots of information on carbon offsetting and being more eco-friendly.  When planning your wedding, consider reducing carbon emissions by purchasing locally or offsetting your purchases that were shipped to you.  Also, look out for suppliers that offer Carbon Free Shipping.  In this section, we'll be posting some of them that we come across.
