Did you know that you could wind up paying $60 - $150 on average for getting a make-up artist to do your makeup on your wedding day? Now, we're not suggesting that this isn't a necessary expense on the big day. But we're suggesting that for some brides to be, maybe it isn't. If you're good at doing your own make-up on a day to day basis, you might consider just saving yourself the money and doing it yourself. We've heard of many brides who have done this. You could always practice ahead of time and consult different make-up counters at the mall (your local M.A.C counter is a great place to start) to see if they do make-up demonstrations. Get tips from the pros before you play with your wedding look. Just remember that the camera will take away about 30% of the make-up so if you apply your make-up a little heavier than you would normally, the results should be picture-perfect…
